How to file a takedown.

If you believe that material posted by a Customer or Contractor on or through the Service infringes your copyright — for example, a photograph or video confirmation that includes your face, your premises, your branded apparel, or your copyrighted choreography — you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our Designated Agent.

A complete notice must include:

• your physical or electronic signature;
• identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
• identification of the allegedly infringing material, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate it (a URL is helpful; a description such as "the one with the blue car" is not);
• your contact information;
• a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized;
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.

If you believe a takedown was wrong.

If material you posted has been removed pursuant to a DMCA notice and you believe in good faith that the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice meeting the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).

Counter-notices subject you to federal court jurisdiction in the judicial district in which we are located. We do not advise as to whether this is a good idea for you. We do not represent you. We are not your friend.

We terminate repeat infringers.

It is our policy to terminate the accounts of users who are determined, in our sole discretion, to be repeat copyright infringers. "Repeat" generally means three (3) or more substantiated DMCA takedowns within any 12-month period, although we reserve the right to terminate sooner where the volume of takedowns is, in our view, "embarrassing."

How to serve us.

Government agencies, civil litigants, and private parties seeking user data must serve valid legal process on our registered agent. We require, at minimum:

• a subpoena, court order, or search warrant issued by a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States;
• specific identification of the records sought (we do not respond to "all data on John Doe" requests);
• identification of the requesting attorney, agency, or officer, with badge number where applicable;
• proof of service.

We do not respond to: requests via Twitter DM, requests via the customer support widget, requests faxed to a number listed on Glassdoor, or requests delivered in person to a Contractor at the moment of fulfillment.

Use the cover sheet.

All legal process must be accompanied by our Goodfoot Holdings Legal Process Cover Sheet (Form GH-LP-7), which we will furnish on request. Process delivered without the cover sheet will be treated as received on the date the cover sheet is subsequently submitted, not the date of original service.

The cover sheet is, we acknowledge, not legally required. It is, however, helpful, and we have built our intake workflow around it.

90 days, with one renewal.

Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f), we will preserve records for up to 90 days upon receipt of a valid preservation request from a U.S. governmental entity, with one 90-day renewal available upon written request submitted before the initial period expires.

Preservation does not constitute production. To obtain the preserved records, the requesting agency must serve appropriate legal process within the preservation window.

Imminent threats only.

In situations involving an imminent threat of death or serious physical injury to a person, we may, in our discretion and pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2702(b)(8), provide limited information to law enforcement without legal process. Emergency requests should be submitted via our 24/7 emergency line, the number for which is provided to verified law enforcement on request.

"My Target sent me an angry text and I think they figured out who placed the order" does not, in our view, constitute an imminent threat.

We will tell you, unless we can't.

It is our policy to notify users of legal process seeking their information prior to disclosure, except where:

• a court order, gag order, or applicable statute prohibits notice;
• the request is accompanied by a non-disclosure provision under 18 U.S.C. § 2705(b);
• notice would, in our judgment, create a risk of evidence destruction, witness tampering, or physical harm;
• the user has, by contract, waived notice — see Section 17 of the Terms.

The exceptions, taken together, mean that in practice we frequently do not notify users.

We charge for compliance.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we charge requesting parties for the reasonable cost of compliance with legal process, including review, retrieval, redaction, and certification. Our standard schedule:

• Account record production — $250 flat fee;
• Order history production — $0.85 per record, minimum $200;
• Photographic or video confirmation retrieval — $1,200 per item, owing to cold-storage retrieval cost;
• Custodian declaration — $500 per declaration;
• Live testimony at deposition or trial — $2,500 per day, plus travel.

Government agencies are billed at the same rates. We do not provide a public-sector discount.

Once a year, in the aggregate.

We publish an annual transparency report disclosing the aggregate number of legal-process requests we received in the prior year, broken down by request type and country. Specific user disclosures are not included. The most recent report is available at /transparency-2025.pdf and reflects, the following high-level figures:

• 2,184 total government requests received;
• 1,912 requests in which some data was produced;
• 0–249 National Security Letters received (range disclosed pursuant to applicable rules);
• 47 private-party civil subpoenas received;
• 1 request from a state attorney general we may not further describe.

As of the date below.

As of the most recent update reflected at the top of this page, a kick in the balls has not:

• received any National Security Letters;
• received any orders under FISA Section 215;
• received any classified requests under FISA Section 702;
• installed any government-mandated backdoor in the dispatch system;
• made any disclosure to U.S. or foreign intelligence agencies pursuant to a request the existence of which we are prohibited from confirming.

The absence or modification of any portion of this section in a future revision of this page should be considered meaningful. We will not affirmatively notify users of the modification. We will simply remove the language.
